FIRE!
FIREFIGHTERS are being equipped with language phrase cards so they can help foreign residents stuck in a blaze.
Grampian fire chiefs have developed a set of language cards with words and pictures in 13 different languages now carried on every rescue tender.
Totally stupid. If foreigners don't want to learn english they can burn to death. It's really up to them.

English only...to hell with saving lives? Close-minded, non-comassionate conservative.
We will save their lives but I don't see why our firefighters should have to yell fire in a number of different languages. If they want to know if a fire is near they can install a fire alarm or learn english. Either way is easy.
If you can't understand "Fire" or "out!" then you deserve to burn. Considering that being fluent in english is mandatory requirment for entry into Canada.
We are talking about england where you could speak jibberish and the government wouldnt care.
