Canada invades Danish territory

Yes, Canada has sent their defence minister to invade Hans island which was owned by Denmark. Hans island is only slightly larger than a football field so we will have to see if Denmark tries to take it back.

I like how Canada does things, sending government officials instead of soldiers. If America had to do that with Iraq they would never have went to war so I think Canada are far more brave especially when there could have been enemy seel freedom fighters that are angry at the seel clubbing.

They planted a Canadian flag and built an Inuit stone marker on Hans Island. I understand the flag but why the Inuit stone marker? Is that supposed to frighten Danish troops if they come and reclaim the land?

I have a good idea for them to see who keeps it. They both toss a coin. Whoever gets it right gets the worthless island.

Canada vs. Denmark. Cue in rock music battle theme. Time to bring out the big guns.

This kind of news is funny. I wonder how it'll turn out though.
