Political Correctness Gone Mad

The word "fail" should be banned from use in classrooms and replaced with the phrase "deferred success" to avoid demoralising pupils, a group of teachers has proposed

Who else thinks this is ridiculous? I am sick and tired of this politically correct world that we live in. If children fail they should be told that they failed. What will these children be like when they grow up? When they fail they won't be used to failing. We are bringing up a nation of pansies which must be stopped.

This really is political correctness gone mad.

We certainly need to help kids to learn from their failures but to do that we need to call it failure.

No one is going to tell a child that they are worthless because they've failed once or twice, and in the same way we shouldn't be expected to gloss over the fact that they've failed to reach the standard expected of them.

Once they enter the real world, no boss is going to tell them that failing is OK, they're simply going to lose their jobs. We need to prepare them for their future working life now.
