Military base needed doctor for 3 weeks

There is more news about the military being left out to dry and betrayed by our government who couldn’t care less about what happens to the men and women who fight for this country.

One military base which was under constant military attack spent three weeks without a doctor to care for any wounded. How could that happen? They were lucky that many weren’t killed because of this. Even if they had a doctor it might have been hard to find a bed seeing as main military hospital in Helmand ran out of beds twice in six months.

The equipment that the military uses is probably inferior to the equipment of the enemy. Which other army would use machine guns that are 55 years old? We already know our military is less well equipped than Estonia.

Foreign office selling off embassies

Remember when the foreign office decided to spend tens of thousands of pounds giving our embassy staff in Kabul a pool to swim in?

Now the foreign office has to sell off other embassy buildings in other countries to afford the security of the Kabul embassy. They need to save millions so it is doubtful that not paying for the pool would save that much money but they could probably save a few buildings somewhere and allow repairs to be carried out in other areas.

Iraq to free 6000 insurgents

The job of our military in Afghanistan is about to get harder. While our troops were taking part in anti-insurgent activities they were arresting many suspected insurgents, 6000 of who will now be released from prison and will probably start fighting our troops again.

I bet our troops are glad that they are over there especially when the people they have already arrested for fighting them will probably start fighting them again.

Troops have inferior equipment

It’s never a good idea to go to war with an army that is badly equipped but our government have done just that. According to General Sir Michael Rose our troops are being sent to war less well-equipped than they were 40 years ago.

I don’t think we were fighting two wars 40 years ago either but thankfully we are slowly withdrawing from Iraq unfortunately those troops won’t have long to rest and be with their families before they are sent to sunny Afghanistan to fight the Taliban. I bet they are enjoying fighting for us with inferior equipment and being treated like shit by the government.

Soldiers will get free post

Soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq seem to be having a bit of good news for a change lately. On Saturday the government announced that they are going to conduct an Afghan medal review to see if they should give a special medal to those serving in Iraq.

Today, there is more good news with the news that soldiers and their families and friends will get free post which is bound to boost morale.

Gurkha given £100 and told to piss off

It has only been a few days since I last blogged about our military but they are still being treated with utter contempt, not that I thought anything would change in just a few days.

While they seem to do everything they can to destroy the British military they seem to have a special hate for the Gurkhas. After 18 years of service you would think that our government would be grateful to this Gurkha. No such luck I’m afraid. He was given a payoff of a measly £100 and a pension of around £130 per month. This is despite being badly injured and living in this country. He was also evicted and made homeless after the Ministry of Defence told him "We need your room back." Such callous disregard for those who have served this country for us is disgusting and we should be ashamed.

The ministry of defence decided to close the military hospitals and then some bright spark came up with the idea that it would be a good idea to give them their very own ward in a hospital. Sadly it’s only one ward in the entire country which is now official overcrowded, but it would be if there are only 14 beds in the entire country and there have been 145 servicemen flown back from Afghanistan and Iraq. There are bound to be more wanting one of those 14 beds in the future especially as ministers have been accused of covering up the real casualty figures in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If I was thinking about joining the military I would think again. The government have shown that they couldn’t give a shit about military personnel. They have also shown that they are idiots as they have sold their hospitals while there are wars going on.

Government reject new medal for Afghanistan vets

The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have shown the heroism of our armed forces and the length that our soldiers will go to so that they can help out their comrades. Army captain David Hicks continued fighting a Taliban attack despite suffering agonising injuries that would later kill him. He showed true heroism, refusing to abandon his men and doing his best to keep them alive.

There have been calls for a new medal to recognise the heroism of British troops in the Afghan warzone. The government have rejected this which is probably a kick in the teeth to many who are fighting for their lives in Afghanistan. This can’t be good for morale which is already low. The government won’t even do the little things that might improve morale. Some think that families of soldiers shouldn’t have to pay to send food parcels to troops and I think they are right. This might improve their morale but they would have to stop losing the food parcels first.

War on terror not going too well

The war on terror isn’t going too well for us. It’s particularly bad in
Afghanistan as our troops are being killed at such a rate that, were it to continue, one in 36 would not survive a six-month tour of the country. These troops also face the possibility that while they are on tour their pay will be docked which is an efficient way of destroying morale amongst troops especially when some weren’t paid for weeks.

The war on terror is being further hampered by an exodus of officers from the Intelligence Corps, with 20 per cent departing in the past three years. Is it any wonder they are leaving in droves when we treat our troops worse than something we find on the bottom of our shoe? The exodus of experienced officers has meant that inexperienced officers are handling things they should not be handling which is damaging the fight against terror.

The government is of course the one to blame as they are treating our soldiers badly. The only way to keep the experienced officers is to pay them a decent wage and handle things the way that they think they should be handled as they have the experience so they know how it should be handled.

Afghan victory 'could take 38 years'

British troops could remain in
Afghanistan for more than the 38 years it took them to pull out of Northern Ireland. That is the bleak assessment by Army commanders on the ground in Helmand province.

In an interview with The Observer at HQ in the provincial capital Lashkar Gah, Brigadier John Lorimer, commander of UK forces in Helmand, said: 'If you look at the insurgency then it could take maybe 10 years. Counter-narcotics, it's 30 years. If you're looking at governance and so on, it looks a little longer. If you look at other counter-insurgency operations over the last 100 years then it has taken time.'

Why can’t we just leave now? Afghanistan has nothing to do with us and is taking its toll on soldiers and the country as a whole. 1 in 5 soldiers are already under stress. This is only going to increase with staying there longer which will completely destroy our fighting capabilities. We are also paying £31 a second for the Iraq war yet none are showing us any benefits. Isn’t it about time we left rather than spending billions more and destroying our army?

Mental problems double among Iraq troops

The number of troops suffering psychiatric disorders including post-traumatic stress, mood swings, and drink and drug problems appears to have doubled in the past year.

The scale of mental health problems suffered by troops in Iraq and Afghanistan is revealed in an official study by the Defence Analytical Services Agency.

It says that every month more than 150 members of the Armed Forces who have served in Iraq are being diagnosed with mental health problems.

They don’t actually say the number of suffering from mental problems but in March I blogged that there were more than 2000 troops with mental problems and we only have 13 psychiatrists for the whole of our armed services. No doubt the numbers are much higher than 2000 now.

More troops go to Afghanistan

Yesterday the Ministry of Defence said that troop levels in Afghanistan will increase by 100 by the end of the year and will be boosted by a troop of Viking armoured vehicles.

There is still no sign of the transport aircraft or the helicopters that are needed. You would think that if you increase the number of soldiers there would also be an increase in aircraft to help them complete the job or just to help them get in and out of war zones. The government don’t see it that way though and they have probably forgot that Blair promised the troops whatever they need to complete the job.

SAS Commander forced to quit

What do you do when you have an SAS commander who has been decorated in battle against insurgents who is brave enough to stay with his men and lead operations against terrorists? You relieve him of command and make him quit of course.

You couldn’t make it up.

Good news or a lie?

A rationalisation of repair work on RAF Harrier and Tornado jets has saved the Ministry of Defence £1.4 billion and cut the time needed to fix damaged planes, according to a new report.

Operational availability of Harriers, which was already below the required level, dipped at the outset of the change programme in 2003, but since the end of last year the number of planes fit for action has met the RAF's targets, said the National Audit Office report.

Congratulations to the government, well not really. At first I did think this was something good that they did but then I remember that almost half of their transport aircraft in the war zones are unsafe to fly. If they were doing a good job don’t you think we would have many more aircraft ready to fly? Do you think it would take 7 hours to evacuate wounded soldiers?

If the military have saved money why wasn’t it spent on giving our soldiers whatever they need to complete the job in the war zones that they are in?

The coming world war

It is only a matter of time before earth is plunged into another world war.
The prime suspects for the people who start the war are Russia, the Middle east or China.

You may think that we have no chance of going to war with Russia but there has been a rise of fascism in Russia and it is only a matter of time before fascists take over either through a coup or an election as Russia has the largest skinhead population in the world. Also many Russian politicians have been getting more and more antijewish and some have called for a ban on all jewish organisations. One politician has even threatened Estonia so once it begins Estonia will be one of the first to go. Either joining Russia peacefully or through force.

Within the next 30 years the war will start and we should start preparing for it starting with protecting our boarders, building up the military and changing the education system.

We must stop all immigrants from entering the country and make it so uncomfortable for muslims to be here that they will leave as the last thing we need is muslim infiltrators when we are at war.
We should should get them out by doing the following:
1. Ban all halal meat
2. Ban any more mosques from being built
3. Ban the burqua and hijab in all public places
4. Ban anymore Qurans from being made or brought into the country
5. Make a british version of the Quran with all violent passages removed and only allow that to be sold in this country.
6. Only allow the british version in mosques
7. Treat muslims how they would treat dhimmis.

The next thing we should do is start the draft again so people have to join the army. People will be able to opt out of it though as long as they revoke their citizenship and leave the country within 1 month never to return. If they don't leave within 1 month they will be deported to the first country that will take them.
The next thing we need to do is change education and modern languages. In war we will need translators or spies so starting from primary school age they will be taught Russian, Chinese, Dutch or Arabic.
They will not be taught French, Spanish or German as those are not important to national security.

Why Dutch you ask? Well within 25 years the Netherlands will become majority muslim however I think that within 10 years the muslims will have enough to take the Netherlands by force and sadly even if the Dutch act now I don't think they can be saved.

We must start planning for the war now and keep out of it as long as we can however this may mean leaving our allies to be slaughtered but that may be best for us because the war will probably become a war of attrition and if the enemy succeed in killing our allies we will easily be able to destroy them as they won't have enough men or resources left.

Hopefully it won't come to this but we should start planning nonetheless and if it does start we will be glad that we are ready and that our children have the knowledge to defeat them as they will know what is going on. If it doesn't happen there will be no harm done.

Blair to be sued

Tony Blair the traitor is to be sued by the families of 17 of the soldiers who died in iraq. The families of the 17 are trying to launch a campaign to secure an independent into the legality of the iraq war.

Prime Minister Tony Blair , former Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon and Attorney General Lord Goldsmith are being "sued" and named as first, second and third defendants.

Mr Blair could be forced to give evidence on oath. Relatives accuse the three of lying about the justification for war. Reg Keys, whose military policeman son Ton, 20, was one of six Red Caps killed near Basra in June 2003, said: "Mr Blair misled Parliament and we want to make him accountable for his misdemeanours.

Personally I hope that the families get their inquiry and that blair himself has to pay compensation and then step down. The stepping down would be a small victory as he is going to step down in 2 or 3 years anyway.

I wonder if the families of the 17 have started an online petition which we can sign? I would gladly sign it and list it on this website if there was one as something has to be done with the traitors we have in government.

Canada invades Danish territory

Yes, Canada has sent their defence minister to invade Hans island which was owned by Denmark. Hans island is only slightly larger than a football field so we will have to see if Denmark tries to take it back.

I like how Canada does things, sending government officials instead of soldiers. If America had to do that with Iraq they would never have went to war so I think Canada are far more brave especially when there could have been enemy seel freedom fighters that are angry at the seel clubbing.

They planted a Canadian flag and built an Inuit stone marker on Hans Island. I understand the flag but why the Inuit stone marker? Is that supposed to frighten Danish troops if they come and reclaim the land?

I have a good idea for them to see who keeps it. They both toss a coin. Whoever gets it right gets the worthless island.
