Holocaust pops up again

Once again the holocaust is part of politics again as the Queen has agreed to become patron of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust Holocaust Memorial day trust, the charity which has taken over responsibility from the Home Office for the annual remembrance of the Jewish victims of Nazi persecution.

I can't believe people are still going on about a minor detail of the second world war. Sure it was tragic but 56 million people died altogether in the war and a minority-6 million were jews. Why should we have a special day for a minority of people?

Where is the remembrance day for 96 million people that died because of communism? I don't see one but that genocide was far more terrible.

Instead of Holocaust memorial day why can't we have a Genocide memorial day for the victims of all genocides including the holocaust and the communist genocide?

Its time we stop going on about the holocaust as much more worse genocides have happened since then and they are more worthy to remember than the holocaust.
