Just voted BNP

I have just been to vote. It was a very weird experience. I went with my dad and when we got there it wasn’t what I had imagined.

First of all I got to the voting booth and there was no curtain to close so people couldn’t see how I was voting (not that I was bothered). For some reason I had always imagined a voting booth would have a curtain. I then went to vote and I had to use a pencil. I would have thought that a pen would be better as there would be a decreased chance of electoral fraud seeing as no one can rub out ink.

One the way home I asked my dad who he voted for other than me. He said he voted for me and 2 Labour candidates but he didn’t know which ones such is the Labour or die mentality of my dad.

Actually the BNP's main support comes from Labour areas.

thats a totally different issue though, its more to do with the dissolution of the working class areas labour is supposed to support, and the failings the people, many of whom do not know about politics, and are swept along by the seemingly positive-working-class policies the BNP promote. It's true, the BNP have some attractive policies, in the same way the Nazi party had some amazing ideas. In a situation where the simple, bread and butter policies seem to be failing the working class, a weak labour government, an unknown foe - war on terror? and the failings of Iraq that people seem to lose their minds in voting for a party who's principles lie in the roots of fascism and bigotry.

Although, i'm not saying the BNP are not without their role in british politics, if they didnt have the unsavoury policies then they would be able to place pressure upon bigger parties to adopt the more socialist elements of their manifesto.

tenner says your dad didn't vote for you and is hoping this whole neo-fascism thing is just a phase you'll grow out of like wwf wrestling.

I'll take your tenner. I saw his voting card. he showed me it as he put the x near my name.

you and your dad just broke the law, and admitted it on the internets.

owned bonehead.

No we never. there is no law that states you can't tell people how you voted. Your ballot is as secret as you want it to be and my dad doesn't cdare who knows. He tell anyone who asks who he is voting for or has voted for.
