The EU seems to want to destroy the British cheese industry.

Bowland Dairy Products had been inspected by the EU and found to be unsafe after they incorrectly judged the company. The British FSA then inspected it and found it to be safe. The EU wasn’t having any of this and effectively maintained the ban. Bowland Dairy Products then took the EU to their own court, the ECJ who found in favour of the company. The EU was not having any of this and ignored it’s own court and kept the ban in place.

The EU then sent inspectors to the plan and found little wrong but the EU decided to keep the ban in place anyway regardless of the decision by the courts and regardless of what was found by the inspectors the second time. The EU then decided on a law that would just focus on Bowland Dairy Products and ban them. They also decided to fine them for being unsafe eventhough it was found by their own inspectors that it was safe.

The EU is now set to look through all of Britain’s cheese industry and no doubt try to ban it.

On October 16^th our own government decided to punish Bowland Dairy Products and rushed through a statutory instrument that banned Bowland Dairy Products from operating in the UK. Never before has a UK statutory instrument been used to shut down a single named company.

A company gets shut down by the EU even though their own courts tell them that the EU is wrong and their own inspectors tell them that everything is safe. What is up with that? What is going on?
