Only 129 of 1013 criminals deported

ONLY 129 of the 1,013 criminals freed in the foreign prisoners fiasco have been deported, it was revealed yesterday.

Home Secretary John Reid admitted only a fraction of those who should have been thrown out had been traced.

He told the Commons home affairs committee that officials decided not to deport 216 others and decisions on 52 had been postponed

So much for ‘moving heaven and earth to find them and deport them’… oh wait I forgot that they disbanded the hunt for them because they were no longer a priority.
