The NHS: Letting people die

Our health service is a disgrace. Those who need NHS help are left to die and are punished if they decide they want to contribute to the cost of their own care.

Albert Baxter, 77, was terminally ill. But he was turned down for a drug which could have prolonged his life and shrunk his tumour.

In desperation, he offered to pay for the treatment. But he was told if he did so, he would also have to foot the bill for the rest of his treatment, which he could not afford.

Mr Baxter must have lost all hope of living a comfortable life so he killed himself because of bastards in the NHS who would rather see him die than live.

Mr Baxter isn’t the only one being denied treatment. Tul Bahadur Pun is a Gurkha who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery in fighting for our country but he was denied the medical care that he needed for a heart condition. The person who denied him treatment should be kissing his feet and giving him the care that he needs and not treating the poor man like something on the bottom of his shoe.

The NHS is a disgrace.

NHS committing murder

The NHS is committing murder by refusing to give people treatment because they dare to pay for drugs to prolong their life that the NHS refuses to pay for.

Linda O’Boyle died after being denied treatment for paying for private drugs that are not available on the NHS. As far as I am concerned this is murder. Why is it wrong to want to live longer? NHS drugs were not working but the private drugs did work and she was advised by doctors about the drug. I hope whoever denied her treatment gets a baseball bat around the head, or better yet get the same cancer that Linda O’Boyle had.

Richard Eckley is in the same boat and he is probably going to have to go into debt just to continue to live and if he can’t afford it anymore he could die all because the NHS wouldn’t pay for his drugs to battle kidney cancer.

Surely if Mr Eckley isn’t getting the treatment on the NHS which he paid for through taxes then shouldn’t he get those taxes back seeing as they are not being put to use helping him to stay alive?

Elderly robbed by scum and government

Old people in this country are treated like crap. They are made to suffer by government or made to suffer by scumbags who want to take advantage of them.

Audrey Kelly is 82 and in constant agony because of NHS cutbacks. For years Audrey was receiving foot care so she could walk without pain. Now the NHS expects her to pay for it herself even though she lives off benefits and is 82. How can these people be so heartless?

The NHS says that they don’t offer this anymore unless she is a high risk patient with diabetes or circulation problems. This has of course turned out to be bullshit. Helen Morgan is 87 and she actually does have diabetes as well as arthritis, high blood pressure, partial blindness and the inability to walk. She also lives alone and yet she can’t get the medical care she needs and has been given an £8,000 bill for the care she desperately needed a few months ago. Does this seem right to you?

Now, let’s not focus on government scum now, it’s criminal scum time. Dorothy Stanley is 81 and has had to turn her home into a fortress after criminals have tried to rob her 8 times in the last 2 months. Why should this woman have to live in terror because scum want to take advantage?

This country just gets worse by the day. You can’t expect anything less from criminals when even the government treats our most vulnerable like shit.

Headteacher wants to charge children to eat packed lunches

A headteacher wants children charged for bringing in packed lunches, so instead they eat the school's healthy Jamie Oliver-style meals.

Primary school heateacher Margaret Bousfield believes the increases in packed lunches are a protest against the Government's introduction of healthy meals, promoted by celebrity TV chef Jamie Oliver.

Ms Bousfield, of Fens Primary School in Hartlepool said: "My concern about packed lunches is that, in many schools, meals are healthy and some schools are seeing an increase in packed lunches.

"It seems that nationally more and more children are taking packed lunches and there seems to be an outcry against Jamie Oliver.

"The Government should allow schools to charge young people to bring packed lunches into school.

"There are cost implications for allowing young people to eat packed lunches in schools and introducing a cost may enhance the take-up of what are very healthy school meals."

In a document to the council, she said: "I'm not saying that every child has an unhealthy packed lunch.

"Why not has legislation on it? If the Government can tell schools what to provide in terms of food served that children pay for, then why not packed lunches?"

Who does this bureaucrat bitch think she is? The Nazis would love her to run their schools. Why on earth should there be legislation covering packed lunches? The government already legislates too much as it is and packed lunches aren’t important enough for Parliament to legislate on.

Mrs Bousfield is a teacher and should stick to teaching and she should not have any say over what her pupils eat during dinner time.

Doctors: Stop smoking or we will leave you in agony

A builder who broke his ankle in three places has been refused an operation by doctors - because he smokes.

Gutted John Nuttall, 57, fractured his joint while at work but medics have told him he cannot undergo surgery.

They say unless he gives up his 20-a-day habit he will not be eligible for an operation

Why should he have to stop smoking when smoking isn’t the problem? If smoking was the problem I would support it but it isn’t. He should sue the health service for persecuting him.

Smoking is not illegal and as long as it isn’t he should be given the same treatment as anyone else. Smoking never caused his broken ankle so why should he be punished for smoking?

Gordon Brown: silencing opposition

Gordon Brown enjoys silencing any opposition to what he does. First he silenced the postal workers over post office closures by bribing and blackmailing all employees. Gordon Brown then silenced the military over appalling treatment that they receive.

Yesterday I blogged that the government is going to abduct a child and stop the media reporting what is happening.

Today they are trying to silence the junior doctors and the dissidents in the Labour party who want to have a debate.

When it comes to the junior doctors the government is threatening them with disciplinary action if they take better jobs than they were offered at first. When they don’t take the better offers the government will probably say that all doctors got the positions they wanted. We know different though.

Meanwhile in the Labour party the membership are going to be stripped of their right to put forward emergency motions to the party conference so that the party don’t have to debate any of the damaging policies that Labour have inflicted upon this country.

Smokers resistance grows

A LANDLADY has warned the Prime Minister and the smoking police' they are not welcome as part of a protest against the nanny state'.

Landlady Denise Smith, 51, has placed a notice at the Crown Pub, in Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, stating: The smoking police, traffic wardens, council officials, state police, Gordon Brown and any of his other cronies are not welcome and will be removed.' She said she had erected the sign as part of protest at the introduction of the smoking ban and if any of the people named in the notice enter the pub they would be asked to leave.

Mrs Smith, who has been running the pub with husband David, 46, for more than five years, said: "This is my way of protesting against all the controls there are.

It looks like people aren’t too happy about having their rights taken from them. I can’t understand why owners of pubs can’t decide what happens on their property. No one is forcing none smokers to go to places that allow smoking which is why I am glad that people are taking a stand. It has only been about 6 weeks since the smoking ban began but there are already atleast 2 pubs and a cafĂ© that are legally resisting the smoking ban.
