2823 laws in one year

Gordon Brown has entered the record books by introducing 2,823 new laws during his first year in office.

Gordon Brown has introduced 2,823 laws during his first year in office, the highest rate for new legislation by anyone at No 10. He set his record despite repeated promises to cut red tape.

If Parliament never had any days off and worked every single day this would mean that they pass about 8 new laws per day. It is obvious that even if this was the case no MP could read every single new law yet they are all passed. Shouldn’t the government read these laws before they are passed so that he can actually see if they are needed?

What we need in this country is the government actually scrutinising these laws and not just passing them without reading them. We need the speed of legislation to slow so this can be achieved.

Gordon lies to troops

GORDON Brown reacted to the Army chief’s plea for a troops pay rise yesterday – but failed to promise cash.

The Prime Minister said soldiers’ efforts would be “recognised” and “rewarded”.

He was speaking after General Sir Richard Dannatt told The Sun troops were getting a poor deal on pay.

Gen Dannatt compared the pay of junior service personnel with traffic wardens and said he would like to see above-inflation rises.

Mr Brown said: “I recognise the huge contribution our Armed Forces make and we will continue to try to reward them for the dedication and commitment they show, often in very difficult theatres of war.

You will continue to try to reward them? You mean you have been trying? I would hate to see you not trying to reward them. I don’t think you have rewarded them once even though they are fighting two wars and have to make budget cuts at the same time.

If you are rewarding them why have you given them a part time cabinet minister who recently justified their low wages labelling them unemployable in real life. That’s hardly rewarding them. Infact it’s insulting them.

Gordon Brown is a clever man

I blogged a few weeks ago that the Labour party is heavily in debt and the only thing keeping them solvent is donations from trade unions. The Unions are of course threatening to stop donating them money so Gordon has to do something.

Gordon Brown is an evil genius. The unions are crying out for another bank holiday while the rest of the country are beginning to hate the Labour party for their hatred of this country.

How would Gordon keep the support of the unions while looking patriotic? Gordon figured it out and is now trying to con us. He has decided that there will be a bank holiday to celebrate Britishness. This has of course nothing to do with celebrating britishness. It is just a way to keep the support of the unions so that they keep giving Labour money so that Gordon doesn’t have to go into debt to pay off Labour debts.

Their financial troubles are so bad they are making their own MPs pay £2200 to help to pay off their debts. That is how desperate they are.

Gordon Brown acts tough on crime

Gordon Brown is trying to act tough again but the reality shows that he is anything but tough on crime. A few days ago it was reported that immigrants are responsible for a lot of the knife crime.

The government have decided to make it so that those who carry knives face tough sentences than crappy sentences they do at the moment. Anyone over the age of 16 who is caught with a knife will face automatic prosecution and risk a jail sentence of up to four years. The key word here is ‘risk’. Criminals already risk 4 years in prison but they normally get less than 4 months so nothing will change especially if these people are immigrants.

Immigrants won’t receive any real punishment just like at present. 1400 of them have already been released early and have been allowed to stay in prison. Immigration officials were told that they shouldn’t even attempt and deport anyone who hasn’t been sentenced to more than a year because it’s too difficult to deport them as it is especially if they are from an EU country.

If these foreign criminals are released early they then get £170 compensation for loss of bed and board in jail. All this makes a mockery of what Gordon Brown promises. You can’t trust the competence of this government. Even Britain's most dangerous inmate, Charles Bronson has said that prisons are cushy compared to what they were.

Sir Mugabe

Gordon Brown has rejected angry calls to strip murderous dictator Robert Mugabe of his honorary knighthood.

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg urged the Prime Minister to remove the honour to press the Zimbabwean president's 'odious regime to heel'.

But Mr Brown warned that revoking the title, awarded by John Major's Tory government in 1994, would undermine Government efforts to force the tyrant to end human rights abuses, including beating, torturing and killing opponents.

I am sure if it was a white man murdering blacks and taking their land they would be taking his honour without any hesitation but seeing how much Labour hate white people he is happy to see it go on.

Best news ever

Senior officials in the Labour party, including Gordon Brown, could become personally liable for millions of pounds in debt unless new donors can be found within weeks, the Guardian has learned.

The party has five weeks to find £7.45m to pay off loans to banks and wealthy donors recruited by Lord Levy, Tony Blair's former chief fundraiser, or become insolvent. A further £6.2m will have to be repaid by Christmas - making £13.65m in all. The sum amounts to two-thirds of the party's annual income from donations.

The figures are a conservative estimate as they do not include interest that will also have to be paid. A Labour source said that although the total debt was listed as £17.8m on the Electoral Commission website, the true level, with interest, was nearer to £24m.

The possibility that party officials and members of its national executive committee could become liable is being taken seriously by union leaders, and has been underlined by the decision of equity fund chairman David Pitt-Watson not to accept the post as Labour's general secretary.

I thought the news about Labour going bust was great but this is fantastic news. I hope every single one of those scheming treacherous crooks gets bled dry of all their money. That punishment would be suitable for what they have done to the country. It’s just a pity that Blair won’t be punished even a little bit.

I can just see it now. Gordon Brown having to beg on the streets of Scotland just to feed himself. Then again if Scotland gets their independence he’ll get off without having to pay if he stays in Scotland because it will be a foreign country. Maybe he was planning it all along…

Gordon Brown fakes hospital opening

Gordon Brown is in a new row over spin after being accused of faking a hospital opening.

The Prime Minister cut the ribbon at a medical centre in Basildon, Essex, a key Labour marginal, to coincide with the publication of an interim report on the future of the NHS.

But the heart and chest unit was treating patients three months ago when the official opening was reported in the local press.

One patient, who was at the first opening in July, was brought back at 24 hours' notice yesterday to hold a ribbon for Mr Brown to cut during the photo-opportunity.

"They just said there was a reception and could I come down. I didn't know the Prime Minister would be here," said Peter Cripps, of Laindon, Essex.

Gordon Brown is shameless. He tries to con the people of Britain by basically lying to us all. He hasn’t gotten away with it though and he should be punished at the polls for trying to get away with it.

We had enough of the spin doctors of Blair and now we have the spin doctors of Brown who are far worse than Blair’s spin doctors. Gordon Brown should know by now that most Brits are not gullible fools that he thinks we are.

Brown caught lying about flood compensation

FURIOUS victims of the summer floods told last night how they had been fobbed off with just £250 in compensation – and a trip to a zoo “to cheer them up”.

Gordon Brown promised Government cash would get people “back on their feet as quickly as possible” just days after the devastation in June.

But many families, who have spent three months living in caravans, cheap hotels, or crammed into the upstairs rooms of their waterlogged homes, have been told they cannot have any cash.

These people have lost everything and now the government decides not to pay what they promised to the victims of the floods. This is a betrayal to the people of hull who have paid their taxes and now are being refused any help and being fobbed off with what is basically pocket money and a trip to the zoo.

Is migration managed?

GORDON Brown repeatedly dodged questions yesterday about whether the level of mass immigration under Labour is too high.

The Prime Minister was asked six times during an interview on BBC television whether he thought the current influx of newcomers was good for Britain.

But he consistently decl-ined to give a straight “yes” or “no” answer to interviewer Andrew Marr.

Gordon Brown knows that immigration is too high and the only thing he is going to do about it is build 240,000 new homes a year and concrete over our countryside.

Mr Brown said Labour’s policy was one of “managed migration”, again refusing to discuss numbers. When are we going to see this policy in action? We haven’t seen it so far. Infact they are discussing having an amnesty. That isn’t managing anything.

Citizens' juries will be useless

Prime Minister Gordon Brown today said that the Government would engage more directly with the public in future before deciding on new policy.

Speaking during the first citizens' jury event, he said the "old days" of policy being drawn up by someone in an office in Whitehall were over.

They old days certainly will be over because the EU will be the main decision maker, not our parliament or the British people. Citizens’ juries are nothing but a PR gimmick which will achieve nothing. The government already have a way of finding out British opinion and that is the e petitions website which has been totally ignored. Nothing has been done about many of the popular petitions including a petition for a referendum on the EU treaty which has received more than 18,000 signatures. Surely the opinions of 18,000 are better than the opinions of 50?

Gordon Brown should come clean and tell us that this is just a PR gimmick which won’t achieve anything. Allowing citizens initiatives is a much better way of encouraging democracy and finding out what people want.

Gordon Brown: silencing opposition

Gordon Brown enjoys silencing any opposition to what he does. First he silenced the postal workers over post office closures by bribing and blackmailing all employees. Gordon Brown then silenced the military over appalling treatment that they receive.

Yesterday I blogged that the government is going to abduct a child and stop the media reporting what is happening.

Today they are trying to silence the junior doctors and the dissidents in the Labour party who want to have a debate.

When it comes to the junior doctors the government is threatening them with disciplinary action if they take better jobs than they were offered at first. When they don’t take the better offers the government will probably say that all doctors got the positions they wanted. We know different though.

Meanwhile in the Labour party the membership are going to be stripped of their right to put forward emergency motions to the party conference so that the party don’t have to debate any of the damaging policies that Labour have inflicted upon this country.

No referendum says Brown

Gordon Brown is taking hits from all sides when it comes to the EU constitution in all but name. He is defying people in his own party who actually believe that the people of this country are the ones that matter. Unfortunately Gordon couldn’t care less what the people who elected him think. Hopefully the unions won’t just put pressure on him. Hopefully they will actually act by staging a general strike to force Gordon Brown to surrender to the will of the people. He won’t do it without being forced because he knows that we would tell the EU to piss off just like Texas did when the EU tried to stop the death penalty there.

Don’t get me wrong. Sometimes the EU has some good ideas like a European wide sex offender’s register. We wouldn’t need one if we could stop EU nationals from coming into this country. We don’t actually need anything from the EU because we can do everything ourself. Decentralisation is always the best option.

Gordon Brown to deal with gangs?

Gordon Brown has promised intensive action to deal with gangs. He must have had a change of heart considering he let a couple of gang bosses out for early release and then the police had to re-arrest them. You can’t tell me that the government didn’t know how dangerous these people were. Why on earth were they ever released?

I think they will like it in prison. Maybe they will be able to deal drugs without the prison staff ever finding out. If prison governors take the advice of Anne Owers, the chief inspector of prisons then drug dealing will get much easier than it is at present. She has advised that prison officers should show respect to prisoners by knocking on their cell door before entering. Of course if they were taking drugs this would give them a little time to hide the drugs or any other illegal substances.

Gordon Brown exposed as a liar

Just over 3 weeks ago Gordon Brown pledged to kick out 4,000 foreign criminals. I said that he was lying because the Human Rights Act would not let him. It appears I was correct. Learco Chindamo who is a murderer looks set to be allowed to stay in this country after he killed head teacher Philip Lawrence. Apparently deporting him would deprive him of his right to family life but he wasn’t thinking of the family life of Philip Lawrence when he stabbed him to death. Gordon Brown has been exposed as a liar and a fraud.

Learco Chindamo isn’t the only dangerous foreigner that won’t be deported on Human Rights grounds. Hani al-Sibai who is a failed asylum seeker and terror suspect cannot be deported back to Egypt because human rights laws state that we can’t send him back to a country where he could be executed or tortured.

If you want this country to be safe, if you want convicted foreign criminals and terrorists to be deported then you should never trust Labour. They cannot be trusted with the safety of this country. They cannot be trusted to use common sense either.
