Was he bribed?

Was Keith Vaz bribed into supporting the 42 day detention bill? The evidence points to a bribe but I don’t think anything can be done about it. You can’t really prove this type of stuff.

The evidence shows that Geoff Hoon sent him a letter after the vote telling him that he would be appropriately rewarded for his help during the vote. A few days later he gets a nice new office. While it does look suspicious would he really change his mind just to get a new office? Surely he must be getting something else if he was bribed? Look out for the honours list.

Are there 2000 terrorists?

The government doesn’t seem to be able to agree on the amount of terrorists in this country. In May 2007 MI5 said there were 2000 terrorists in Britain. Lord Stevens the former Metropolitan Police Commissioner disagreed and said it was closer to 4000.

A few days ago Gordon Brown makes a speech saying that the security services are monitoring 2000 terror suspects in the UK. It’s been over a year between MI5 claiming their amounts and Gordon Brown making his speech. Are we supposed to believe that the numbers of terrorists have remained static? I don’t believe that for one minute. Either our government is hiding the real numbers or the security services are too incompetent to arrest a decent number in one year. I don’t think it would be hard to arrest 300-400 of them particularly if they were actually terrorists.

This kind of makes a mockery of the government claim they need more time to hold terrorist suspects when it looks like they haven’t even made a move on any terrorists that they have been monitoring. Thank god the House of Lords might overturn the 42 day detention bill.

MPs lose their expenses

MPs just don’t seem to want to let us know what they have gotten up to these last few years. They are trying to keep their expenses under wraps so we don’t know what they have been spending our money on. They are succeeding at it too. They have shredded more than 1 million documents relating to their expenses so we will never know what they spent the money on.

For now they have succeeded in hiding their past expenses but they won’t be able to hide their future expenses however we do know some of what the money was spent on. For instance Commons Speaker Michael Martin has enjoyed visits to some of the world's most exclusive hotels at the taxpayers' expense and this same man is chairing the committee of MPs looking at their allowances. This is of course going to be a biased report if MPs are on the committee.

Thankfully Michael Martin isn’t being allowed to get away with it. Sir Christopher Kelly who is chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life threatened to hold an inquiry as he rightly believes MPs will be biased over their own expenses.

Immigrants don't take jobs apparently

The government doesn’t seem to know what they are talking about when it comes to immigration. Apparently East European immigrants don’t take British jobs - because Britons are 'unmotivated and uneducated'. The fact that it is the government’s fault that people are uneducated doesn’t seem to bother them.

The thing is the uneducated would be getting the lowest paid jobs which the Eastern Europeans are getting at present so they are taking jobs that Britons would like to do but why would you do them if your wages are going down while the cost of living is going up? Of course you would be unmotivated to do those jobs.

The government are obviously trying to justify their reckless policies that have seen £33 million in child benefit paid to immigrants whose children don’t even live in this country.

While the government can deny that immigrants put British workers out of business they have had to admit that in some parts of the country immigration is fuelling tensions in many areas of the country.

Most immigrants here to stay

The majority of the two million immigrants to Britain since 1991 are here to stay, according to an analysis of official figures.

Most new arrivals come from 'Third World' areas such as Africa and India.

According to the Migrationwatch think-tank, which provided the analysis, people from this group are less likely to return home.

Only 8 per cent of immigrants between 1991 and 2006 came from the new European Union nations of Eastern Europe. They are entitled to move freely between the UK and their home country.

Labour don’t like to hear that their lies are no longer believed and they don’t like to hear immigrants give no benefit to this country at all. The House of Lords slapped down every single argument to justify immigration and the government decides they don’t want to hear it and that no amount of facts will get them out of their dream land.

Conservative ups and downs

It’s been a rollercoaster ride for the conservatives these last few weeks. They have had some good ideas and they have also had their MEPs shown as corrupt and fleecing the taxpayer for everything they can.

They have finally had a good idea concerning education. They want to allow private companies to run schools in the way that Sweden does. The Swedish education system works so it is a fantastic policy which I have liked for a long time. It’s about time we adopted it in this country.

Unfortunately for the Conservatives they have been exposed as cheats swindling the taxpayer. More than half of their MEPs have refused to comply with rules requiring them to reveal how they spend our money. These people should not have a choice in the matter. They are supposed to work for our interests. We are the ones who pay them. We need transparency to stop sleazy politicians taking us for mugs.

Government caught lying over bin collections

The government has been caught lying yet again. This time they have been caught lying about fortnightly bin collections. The government have been saying that there is no health risk to the public from fortnightly bin collections but a report showed different.

The report found that ending weekly collections would "significantly alter the pest infestation rates and hence the disease transmission at source", while vermin and insects could be "encouraged into the home environment".

The government didn’t just lie to the public, they also misled Parliament. When asked by the Conservatives about the bin collections they responded by saying there was "no evidence in published studies" to indicate a link between cutting collections and increased risks to health. The government weren’t lying because they refused to publish the study so while there was no evidence in published studies there was in studies which the government didn’t want to publish because it would show they were incompetent and wrong.

EU hiding bad news from Ireland

Ireland will soon be voting in a referendum on the European constitution/treaty on June 12^th after their government admitted that the treaty was the same as the constitution in all but name.

The Irish could reject the constitution and it the EU is becoming increasingly desperate because they might just do that which is why they are delaying announcements that might make the Irish vote no – you know announcements about how the EU is going to fuck up the country and everything. You can’t have that getting out can you?

Could this also be the reason that anti EU websites such as EU Truth have been closed down and the owners of the sites harassed so badly that they have nearly had breakdowns? The EU certainly is a corrupt organisation willing to do anything to cling on to power. Maybe bloggers should be posting as many EU stories as they can between now and the referendum date and find as many Irish political as you can and comment on them. If the Irish vote yes we are all doomed. If they vote no we will be ok for a few more months until they decide not to listen to the will of the public like they did in France and Holland.

MPs try to hide their expenses again

MPs expenses have finally been revealed after a legal battle lasting years.

The claims show that our leaders have been taking us for mugs. Some expenses are probably genuine and I feel that they should have claimed them, however most MPs are taking the mick.

Why did Gordon Brown claim for everything from a £372 subscription to SkyTV and £4,471 to smarten up his kitchen? That is a very expensive kitchen but it’s nothing compared to what Tony Blair spent on his kitchen (£10,600).

If Gordon Brown wanted to have SkyTV and to smarten up his kitchen he should have paid for it out of his own money and not take from the taxpayer.

Now that the public know what is going on MPs are trying to think of new ways to cheat and con us out of money. One way they are considering is giving themselves a grant of £23,000 per year, no questions asked which means no receipts which means we won’t have a clue what they are spending the money on which is just the way they like it. The thing is not all MPs spend their full allowance of £23,000 but with this new system they will be given it anyway which will cost a lot more.

Should MPs be taking the taxpayer for a ride when the lower paid are struggling to cope with record food prices which have made the average food bill rise £700 in the past year. Come on MPs. Show a bit of compassion.

Olympic bosses taking bribes

The Olympics is getting more expensive every day. The bill for the aquatics centre is set to double to £150 million while the budget for the stadium will rise from £280million to £500 million.

While the costs increase the people in charge of the project do nothing to keep the costs under control. Why should they? Afterall they are receiving bribes from companies that they have rewarded contracts too. These senior executives have no incentive to give contracts to the cheapest. They will give it to anyone just so long as the bribe is high enough.

The information was found out using freedom of information laws but these executives were so determined to keep this information a secret that they only gave researchers 90 minutes to view hundreds documents, would not allow copies to be made and are now refusing to let anyone else see the names of the officials.

With such limited time to read hundreds of pages is it possible that it is worse than we thought? Could they have accepted more than these researchers were able to read?

Gordon Brown fakes hospital opening

Gordon Brown is in a new row over spin after being accused of faking a hospital opening.

The Prime Minister cut the ribbon at a medical centre in Basildon, Essex, a key Labour marginal, to coincide with the publication of an interim report on the future of the NHS.

But the heart and chest unit was treating patients three months ago when the official opening was reported in the local press.

One patient, who was at the first opening in July, was brought back at 24 hours' notice yesterday to hold a ribbon for Mr Brown to cut during the photo-opportunity.

"They just said there was a reception and could I come down. I didn't know the Prime Minister would be here," said Peter Cripps, of Laindon, Essex.

Gordon Brown is shameless. He tries to con the people of Britain by basically lying to us all. He hasn’t gotten away with it though and he should be punished at the polls for trying to get away with it.

We had enough of the spin doctors of Blair and now we have the spin doctors of Brown who are far worse than Blair’s spin doctors. Gordon Brown should know by now that most Brits are not gullible fools that he thinks we are.

It's official: Immigration is bad

Hundreds of thousands of immigrants are a drain on Britain and its economy, not a benefit, says a Left-leaning think tank.

Migrants from many developing nations fail to pay their way, while those from wealthy countries, such as the United States and Australia, provide a boost for the economy.

The report, published today by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), sets out to reveal which nationalities are "a debit on Britain's balance sheet".

It found that fewer than half of Britain's 650,000 Somalis, Bangladeshis, Turks and Pakistanis, have jobs and the four communities have the highest levels of benefit dependency.

Britain's fastest-growing migrant group, the Poles, score above-average for employment, but have the lowest hourly pay and make a below-average tax contribution.

Channel 4 commissioned the report for a Dispatches documentary, Immigrants: the Inconvenient Truth, to be shown tomorrow night.

This is what people like me and the BNP have been saying for years but we have been vilified for saying it. The government expect another 2 million immigrants in the next decade and will not do anything about it. This is only going to make water shortages in the south east worse than the 1 billion litres a day shortages that are already expected.

If we don’t want water shortages we should be reducing our population to levels where there are enough resources for all. That is the common sense thing to do.

Despite all these warnings about immigration our leaders, who won’t actually feel the negative effects of immigration still want to keep all this a secret. They don’t want channel four telling people the truth about immigration because they have been lying to us for years. If people wake up it might actually damage their pay packet and they can’t have that.

Home Office caught lying

Serious violence and murder near pubs and clubs in the early hours rose by almost 130 per cent in the year after licensing laws were relaxed.

But the Home Office omitted the figure from its report into the impact of 24-hour opening, claiming it was "not statistically significant".

Ministers have now been forced under Freedom of Information laws to reveal the missing data, which was simply replaced with a blank space when the research was published in July.

The rise of 127 per cent was recorded across 18 police regions in city centre locations or near pubs and clubs between 3am and 6am.

It covered the most serious types of violent crime, including murder, attempted murder, manslaughter and wounding.

Only the government can claim that increased murder and violence is not statistically significant. I have to wonder what planet these people are on. The fact that they didn’t include the data means that they knew what it meant and they didn’t want the public knowing.

Gordon Brown: silencing opposition

Gordon Brown enjoys silencing any opposition to what he does. First he silenced the postal workers over post office closures by bribing and blackmailing all employees. Gordon Brown then silenced the military over appalling treatment that they receive.

Yesterday I blogged that the government is going to abduct a child and stop the media reporting what is happening.

Today they are trying to silence the junior doctors and the dissidents in the Labour party who want to have a debate.

When it comes to the junior doctors the government is threatening them with disciplinary action if they take better jobs than they were offered at first. When they don’t take the better offers the government will probably say that all doctors got the positions they wanted. We know different though.

Meanwhile in the Labour party the membership are going to be stripped of their right to put forward emergency motions to the party conference so that the party don’t have to debate any of the damaging policies that Labour have inflicted upon this country.

Gun control doesn't work

We seem to be getting a lot of good things from Eastern Europe. Lots of immigrants, crime, lack of jobs and now we finally know where the guns on our streets are coming from. The guns are coming from Eastern Europe. Is there anything they won’t do for us? These guns are then sold for as little as £50.

This is what gun control does! This country has some of the toughest anti gun laws in the world but firearm use has still risen steadily. Even in countries where there is a lack of gun crime guns aren’t sold to teenagers but in this country Under 18s commit most gun crime which means that the minimum sentence of 5 years that they are supposed to get doesn’t apply. Can you believe that only 20% actually get the minimum sentence because most are under 18 years old? As far as I am concerned if you are old enough to shoot someone you are old enough to be treated like an adult.

Of course liberals don’t like to be told the truth, that gun crime doesn’t work, that their disastrous liberal crime policies have failed and that they have totally destroyed this country. This is why the government is covering up the scale of gun crime. The Home Secretary has said gun crimes has fallen but the truth is that since 1998 gun crime has risen by 400%. When are liberals going to understand that their policies have been an utter failure and when are they going to understand that criminals are laughing at them? The law abiding public should be armed and should have the right to shoot anyone that illegally enters the place they live. Only when criminals fear the punishment will the war on crime be won.
