EU rules mean 400 Britons go without liver

Thanks to EU rules European Union citizens can come to this country and get healthcare. While 400 britons could have a new liver now they don’t. Instead Greek and Cypriot patients have them.

If you are on the waiting for a liver and you are probably going to wait years you know who to blame. If you want to get treated as soon as possible you should dump Labour and the EU.

Another stupid EU directive

The European Union seems to be poking their noses in a lot of places where they are not wanted lately. According to Directive 2001/84/EC from the EU every time a piece of art is sold the artist must get a royalty. Why is this law? You don’t see this happening in other industries. Why aren’t builders given a royalty every time a house is sold? Why aren’t car manufacturers given a royalty every time someone buys their car from an individual? I could go on forever naming other industries but I won’t. I think you understand that this is stupid.

You would think with these stupid ideas our government would want to hand over less power. Not so I am afraid. Our foreign secretary David Milliband wants our army to be part of an EU army. We already know that he is a traitor but this goes far beyond treason. He doesn’t want our country to control our own military. He wants it to be controlled by a foreign government. Can we call ourselves independent when that happens?

Bad week for EU

It’s been a bad week for the European Union. Their constitution is being destroyed. The Polish president has said that he will not sign the EU treaty which will completely stop any ratification from going forward.

The Europhiles are of course livid and hysterical. French MEP Jamie Smyth doesn’t like what has happened and hates referendums calling them 'a tool for dictators' because only the Irish people voted against it but that’s only because no other country was given a chance. When the French and Dutch voted they said no too but Mr Smyth conveniently forgets that. I am sure if everyone was allowed to vote everyone would vote no.

Could this lead to NHS privatisation?

New rights for patients to shop around Europe for the best healthcare are part of a new "Social Agenda" launched in Brussels.

If approved by EU governments, the controversial move would guarantee that costs are covered by the patient's own national health scheme back home.

The plan follows years of legal cases in which European court judges have ruled that freedom to cross EU borders for the best or quickest treatment should be a right for all.

But the measure would have safeguards - costs would be reimbursed in line with similar costs which would be incurred if the treatment was carried out at home, and repayment would only apply to those having healthcare insurance in their own country.

This sounds good but it is not. I think Britain is the only country in Europe with free healthcare and this could be jeopardised by this ‘new right’. The NHS has a limited amount of money. They are not a bottomless money pot. If people can go abroad it will mean that the NHS has to spend even more money whereas now they have a waiting list where they perform operations and treatment when they can afford to.

If this was to happen often the government would say the NHS has gone bankrupt or is close to it and they will tell us that they have no other option but to privatise it. In reality they know this but they want to try and make money off us as fast as they can.

Judges decide against referendum

Tycoon
Stuart Wheeler says he has "high hopes" of winning an appeal against a High Court decision to oppose his bid for a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.

Two judges rejected the millionaire's claim that there was a "legitimate expectation" of a public vote.

I didn’t think he would win his case. There is no law saying that the government is banned from lying to the public so I hate to say it but the judges had no reason to vote against them even though I would have loved to have seen it.

We just have to hope that the judges of the Court of Appeal care more about the country than the law.

Judge stops treaty while Ireland will vote again

There is good news regarding the EU treaty. A judge has temporarily stopped ratification. While it probably won’t lead to anything it still gives us a small glimmer of hope. If the judgement comes back favourably for patriotic Brits we can than Stuart Wheeler.

If ratification is stopped it could also mean that the European Union will not be able to expand which is of course the best thing that could happen. I don’t want millions of Turks coming to this country when we already have millions from other countries coming here.

The European Union of course don’t like any opposition to their plans so will get around any judgement and any opposition. In Ireland they are going to make the Irish vote again until they give the EU the decision they want. The new referendum will probably be held next spring so they can rush the treaty in as fast as possible.

Less food and energy because of EU rules

If you were the European Union fanatic and you were faced with the prospect citizens of a member state wanting to leave what would you do to make them want to stay forever? The answer would be to make them need you for all sorts of things like electricity and food and that is exactly what the EU is trying to do.

A proposed EU directive could force our coal-fired power stations to shut down earlier than planned. Our government is already going to close down nuclear power stations.

The EU already has a law in place which has been blamed for the recent blackout which resulted in 500,000 homes going without power. The European Union’s Large Combustion Plant Directive sets strict limits on the number of hours that some of Britain’s largest and most heavily polluting coal and oil-fired power stations can operate before they have to close in 2015. The time is measured in “stack hours” — the length of time that chimney stacks, rather than individual generation units, are in use.

It is clear what is going to happen if this is allowed to continue. We will rely more and more on foreign nations to power our country giving us every reason to stay in the EU because we will suddenly need them to heat our homes even though they are the ones that caused the power shortages. The same is true for our food. Once they control our food supply they decide whether we live or starve to death.

A new EU proposal would outlaw four fifths of the chemicals used by UK farmers and cut crop yields by between a quarter and a half meaning that we will have to rely more and more on imports to feed our country.

The EU knows what they are doing. They know that their actions will result in less food and energy for us and could result in us starving or freezing if we left it too late to leave, that’s if we ever left at all.

House of Lords could delay treaty

As the our government and the EU continues with the ratification of the constitutional treaty regardless of what the Irish have decided we are left with the House of Lords to save us yet again but this time they probably can only save us until October but it could be enough time.

If the Lords manage to delay it on Wednesday you can thank Lord Owen as the plans of europhiles will be scuppered yet again. If that fails we might have to hope that the EU will be willing to listen to two countries if the Czech Senate votes to reject it which they most likely will.

The EU still probably won’t take no for an answer which will probably mean that they change some of the treaty and say it is something different and stop the Irish from voting against them and tricking the Czech Senate into believing it is something else.

EU wont take no for an answer

Irish voters seized a chance denied to the British people last night and delivered a decisive 'No' to a European superstate.

Gordon Brown was left with a massive political headache after a shock result in the Ireland referendum on the Lisbon Treaty plunged the European Union into turmoil.

Today, Conor Lenihan, Ireland's Minister of State with responsibility for integration, said while he could not rule out another poll it was 'unlikely' the country would hold another referendum on the treaty. A second vote could inflict even more damage on the EU reform proposals, he added.

The EU will still get by the will of the people regardless of what people want. You see people don’t matter as long as they vote the wrong way. Before Ireland even voted no the europhiles already had a plan to get the treaty through.

By late 2009 or early 2010, when Croatia joins the EU, an amending "Accession Treaty" will be signed by all members including Dublin.

Ireland, like the rest of the Europe, does not hold referendums on EU enlargement treaties and with new protocol opt-outs Dublin may get a new Accession Treaty past the Irish parliament without a popular vote.

The EU treaty is not dead. It will just take 1-2 more years to get it through. The Irish voters this time won’t be given a choice incase they vote no just like with the votes in Holland and France.
We don't want the EU

The Irish have destroyed the Lisbon treaty that would have given each country less of a say in the running of their own country however the Europhiles just won’t take no for an answer. David Milliband still thinks it should be ratified despite its rejection by Irish voters.

We won’t get a referendum even though the majority of British people don’t want to be in a political union. Only a third of people think we should stay in the European Union while the rest want to either leave or renegotiate the EU back into a trade only union.

Our MPs won’t listen of course because our opinions don’t matter. They think that they are the elite and that they should be the ones to decide what happens. We should have no say. It’s time that these people were told that we won’t take it anymore and that they should pack their bags and go abroad where they might be wanted.

Conservative ups and downs

It’s been a rollercoaster ride for the conservatives these last few weeks. They have had some good ideas and they have also had their MEPs shown as corrupt and fleecing the taxpayer for everything they can.

They have finally had a good idea concerning education. They want to allow private companies to run schools in the way that Sweden does. The Swedish education system works so it is a fantastic policy which I have liked for a long time. It’s about time we adopted it in this country.

Unfortunately for the Conservatives they have been exposed as cheats swindling the taxpayer. More than half of their MEPs have refused to comply with rules requiring them to reveal how they spend our money. These people should not have a choice in the matter. They are supposed to work for our interests. We are the ones who pay them. We need transparency to stop sleazy politicians taking us for mugs.

Profitable post offices may close

The Minister in charge of the controversial plans to close thousands of post offices has admitted that some profitable branches are being closed.

The news is likely to fire the anger of the tens of thousands of people across the UK who are opposing local closures.

The Government is midway through an unpopular plan to close 2,500 post offices in bid to cut the network’s losses, which are running at £4million a week.

However Pat McFadden, the post office minister, said today that Royal Mail is closing branches that were making profits.

The government has no reason to shut post offices that are profitable. If they are going to close any of the post offices it should be those that aren’t profitable but the government has a totally different agenda. Closing post offices was never about cutting losses it was about something entirely different.

The European Commission is set to propose a full liberalisation of postal services by 2009, which will force member states to stop protecting public operators from national or cross-border competition. Also article 88 of the Treaty of Amsterdam forbids national government from giving state aid without the permission of the EU. Do you think the EU will give permission when they are trying to bring in more competition? I don’t think so either.

Haulage jobs to be lost

European truck drivers are set to swarm on to
Britain’s roads because of new competition laws passed in Brussels.

Foreign lorries are currently banned from acquiring fresh business in the UK once they have delivered their loads here, except in exceptional circumstances.

But a new regulation, passed by the EU Parliament last month, will let European hauliers take on three more British jobs before returning home within a week.

This will rise to seven jobs by 2010, and by 2014 the new law will allow them unlimited access to UK markets – both in the number of jobs and the time it takes to do them.

As overseas hauliers use cheaper fuel and unregulated labour, particularly from Eastern Europe, British operators claim they will be unable to compete.

Experts believe that the move will cost the British economy an estimated £165million and cause hundreds of small hauliers to close.

This is just brilliant news for hauliers. Competition is a good thing but is this fair competition when the foreign companies already have the advantage with cheaper fuel and labour?

This time the government won’t be able to say they are only taking the jobs that Brits won’t do because Brits are doing those jobs now. The only reason any government would allow this would be so that they can deliberately destroy the British haulage industry. What other reason could there be?

EU wastes £3 million

The EU seems to have so much money that it doesn’t know what to do with it. Well that can be the only conclusion that you can come to after reading this story.

The EU has decided to spend £3 million setting up a Facebook rival site which goes live in October. They want politicians from 27 member states to join new social networking website myparl.eu to share ideas and have debates.

The thing is the EU don’t like debates so they will probably try to silence any of the anti EU MEPs who try to create a profile and spread factual news about the EU. Anyone caught criticising the EU will probably be banned but it might be nice to try. I don’t yet have a Facebook profile (I know – where have I been…) but it might be fun to create a profile on the EU site and start criticising the EU at every opportunity to see what happens.

EU hiding bad news from Ireland

Ireland
will soon be voting in a referendum on the European constitution/treaty on June 12th after their government admitted that the treaty was the same as the constitution in all but name.

The Irish could reject the constitution and it the EU is becoming increasingly desperate because they might just do that which is why they are delaying announcements that might make the Irish vote no – you know announcements about how the EU is going to fuck up the country and everything. You can’t have that getting out can you?

Could this also be the reason that anti EU websites such as EU Truth have been closed down and the owners of the sites harassed so badly that they have nearly had breakdowns? The EU certainly is a corrupt organisation willing to do anything to cling on to power. Maybe bloggers should be posting as many EU stories as they can between now and the referendum date and find as many Irish political as you can and comment on them. If the Irish vote yes we are all doomed. If they vote no we will be ok for a few more months until they decide not to listen to the will of the public like they did in France and Holland.

EU interferes with driving tests

The EU has again stuck its nose where it isn’t wanted. Even though Britain has a better road safety record than many other countries the EU are trying to make us change our driving tests to fit in with them. If they change anything they should change it to be like ours.

The changes have resulted in 20 test centres being closed down and another 26 are earmarked for closure. This is all because the EU has decided that it is in their interests to close them. As far as I can see there is no practical reason to close them other than petty vindictiveness by the EU.

EU getting desperate

The EU and Labour have shown yet again what a load of fascists they are. Labour MEP Richard Corbett has begun a motion in the European Parliament to silence any type of dissent and opposition to the European Union.

His plan is to make it tougher for euro realist MEPs to come together to form a group. His reasoning is ”it would prevent single issue politicians from being given undue support”. I am sure he realises that the euro realist MEPs were probably elected for the sole reason of being single issue politicians. Why else would anti EU politicians ever be elected to the European Parliament?

That’s not all that this fascist wants to do. Mr Corbett’s proposals will also give the President of the Parliament sweeping powers to approve or reject parliamentary questions. That means silencing any critics and making sure than anything embarrassing for them doesn’t come out.

These are people that are willing to stop any opposition from even being heard just so that people will think that everything is good in the European Union and everyone thinks the EU is great. They are even willing to threaten countries like Ireland so that their people will vote to adopt a treaty that will completely change the sovereignty of their country.

The EU wants even more control

If anyone doubts the power of the European Union over Britain they are not paying attention. Past government have repeatedly betrayed Britain and allowed the EU to make more and more decisions that affect us which we have no say over.

A proposed European directive could shut down some of our much needed power stations and result in widespread blackouts. Those of us paying attention know why the EU is doing this. The disgraceful thing is that our corrupt and treacherous government will allow them to do it.

They are doing it because Britain is waking up and seeing what a terrible decision it is to be part of the EU. People want out and the only way the EU can keep us if we can’t fend for ourselves. At the moment we don’t need the EU and they know this. If we needed them for our energy requirements we would not be able to leave and even if we did leave they would make us regret it.

The EU are now even trying to control our police and have a single European police. After this Parliament will just be a talking shop, unable to influence the police or tell them what to do. Whatever the government says they will do about crime they won’t do because the power will no longer be with Parliament. The power will be with the EU and our politicians won’t be able to do anything about it, not that the traitors will want to of course. They despise Britain and want to see it as just like a state in the USA but with even less power to decide things for the benefit of Britain.

EU to send companies abroad

Company bosses who pocket fat bonuses without reason are a "scourge" on society and could be tackled by losing their tax breaks, the chairman of the euro zone's group of finance ministers said on Tuesday.

Jean-Claude Juncker said ordinary workers were being urged to accept only moderate pay increases to avoid stoking inflation, which has hit record highs in the 15-nation area.

Company bosses do get too much money but the EU should keep out of it because it is none of their business what private businesses do. Companies pay a lot of money because they have to so that they can attract the best people to make their company better.

If the EU gets involved it will just mean that companies will go elsewhere and so will the talent. The bosses want to keep their money and they have the option of leaving Europe. Companies will follow the talent because there is no incentive to stay here.

If the public was actually concerned about what is happening they have two options. The first is to stop buying their products and the second is to get the workers to go on strike for a better deal. Government doesn’t have to get involved.

Village votes for referendum

The rural rebellion against the proposed EU reform treaty has gathered momentum after villages contacted the Telegraph to announce their intention to vote for a referendum on the issue.

Five parish communities from Yorkshire to Cornwall said they had proposed ballots, as the residents of East Stoke, Dorset, celebrated an expected "Yes" landslide in their ground-breaking poll.

Parishioners in Sidmouth, Devon, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Loughton, near Milton Keynes, Lanteglos-by-Fowey, Cornwall, and Mawgan-in-Meneage, near Helston, Cornwall, all emailed the Telegraph to say they were in the process of organising votes.

Tess Nash, a resident of Mawgan-in-Meneage, said a parish meeting had been held there at which villagers had voted unanimously for a poll on the treaty.

They have demanded that Kerrier District Council hold a vote in accordance with local government regulations.

Gordon Brown can’t ignore this. People are rebelling against fascist Brown and now it can’t be stopped. Brown either gives us a referendum or he is shown to be against the wishes of the majority of people in this country.
