MoD spends billions on consultants

We now know why our military doesn’t have the correct equipment, is badly needing helicopters and why our government needs to close a number of embassies.

It’s all because they have spent £2.3 billion on consultants since Labour came to power. They have been consulted on management, marketing, public relations, the environment, recruitment, IT and human resources. I don’t know why they would need to be consulted on things like management, marketing, public relations and the environment but they are.

This money should be going to the troops that are actually fighting the war and not going on consultants. The government needs to help the soldiers complete their mission by giving them things that they need like helicopters and not spending it on PR to make them look good.

Immigrants sent to the front of the queue

IMMIGRANTS who
can't speak English are being sent to the FRONT of NHS out-patient queues...while locals are left waiting in clinics for hours.

Patients who need interpreters are being given priority by hospital trusts—because bosses reckon it's cheaper than having costly translators hanging about.

The bosses are right. It probably is cheaper however that is no justification for giving them treatment before Brits. Unless it is essential immigrants should be refused any treatment unless they have the money to pay. I don’t see why those who have paid taxes all their lives should be sent to the back of the queue just so someone who hasn’t paid anything can get treated for something they can get treated for in their own country.

News roundup 38

Crematorium concern over carbon footprint becomes a burning issue. This green thing is going a little too far.

The times they are changing: pupils to learn the poetry of Dylan. Why?

Taxes drive more out of the UK. Is it any surprise?

One in five UK sperm donors is from overseas. Just doing the jobs Brits won’t do.

Labour to deal with immigration the wrong way (2?)

Gordon Brown is set to announce tighter controls on would-be migrants coming to work in the
UK, in a move which could cut arrivals by 35,000 a year.

The Prime Minister will say that tens of thousands more migrant workers must pass English language tests before coming to the UK.

The controversial clampdown, to be unveiled in a speech to the TUC annual conference in Brighton on Monday, will affect skilled workers from outside the European Union, the Sunday Telegraph revealed.

Labour said something similar 11 months ago and nothing has been done. This is nothing but a lie. If they were serious they would have started months ago.

They are going about it all wrong anyway. EU immigrants are the main problem. If anything we should be putting limits on EU immigrants but we aren’t allowed to do that because the EU says so.

Foreign office selling off embassies

Remember when the foreign office decided to spend tens of thousands of pounds giving our embassy staff in Kabul a pool to swim in?

Now the foreign office has to sell off other embassy buildings in other countries to afford the security of the Kabul embassy. They need to save millions so it is doubtful that not paying for the pool would save that much money but they could probably save a few buildings somewhere and allow repairs to be carried out in other areas.

Blair still screwing us

Tony Blair is in the news again and we are about to pay for him. Oh goody. He is scared of people taking their revenge out on him for ruining this country so we have to pay £80k so that we can bomb proof his home. I am sure anyone determined enough to try and kill Blair wouldn’t be put off. They don’t need to use bombs either.

If Blair wants to be safe he should pay for the upgrades himself. He has already screwed the country enough and he has enough money. If he doesn’t have enough money I think that it might be time to sell his home and buy somewhere more affordable. Is that too much to ask?

The Olympics are a disaster

We were lied to. I think you all know that we are lied to constantly so you probably want to know what I am talking about. I am talking about the Olympics. Tessa Jowell told us that the bill would be just over £2 billion but she knew it would be billions more but she didn’t want us to know.

Is it any wonder it has increased so much when we are paying people £400 per hour to attend planning meetings who are already rich and famous? Why exactly are we giving Princess Anne so much to sit on her arse and listen to what is being said?

Is it any wonder that the costs are spiralling out of control? If we had a competent government we could probably get the Olympics for far less than we are getting them and it would probably be within budget.

Peter Mandelson is a traitor

Peter Mandelson,
Britain's commissioner in Brussels, has dismissed calls for a referendum on the new EU treaty.

He insisted that it did not amount to a "radical reform" of the relationship between the UK and Europe.

In a rare display of unity with his old enemy Gordon Brown - and amid signs that EU leaders are joining forces to prevent the British people being given a say - the former Cabinet minister said many of those arguing for a referendum really wanted to pull out of the EU.

Of course we can’t have people deciding what happens to their own country. I mean our political masters have everything sorted and if we did have a vote and if we did vote to leave Mr Mandelson might lose his job on the gravy train because we wouldn’t need a commissioner.

Is it any wonder that these people are lying about the effect of the treaty? These traitors rely on the EU for their pay packet. If he truly wanted to put Britain’s best interests first would he really support giving so much power to the EU which is an even more centralised government than the one we already have? Our own government should have far less power but that power should not go to the EU. It should be with the people and not Parliament.

We should tell the EU where to go. We do not want them having any power over us and we certainly don’t want Brussels sending over their riot police to police this country.

Religion meets transport

It would seem that religions have different ways of dealing with transport problems. The Church of England which is always trying to deal with today’s society (not really) has found that that it is hard to get a seat on a train and it can get very crowded on trains. Never fear though. They have a solution. They have written a special prayer for when you are on a train and unable to get a seat. It goes a little like this:

I failed to get a seat — again,
too many people on the train.
We’re stuck in a tunnel;
everybody’s sighing;
we’re not moving.
I breathe in —
“Let me know your peace and grace.”
I breathe out —
“And help me share it with the people here.”
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
For the sake of my sanity.
For the sake of your kingdom.

I think you will all agree that is very profound…

Christianity isn’t the only religion that is trying to deal with transport problems. Hinduism is not the cutting edge of transport problems. Officials at Nepal's state-run airline have sacrificed two goats to appease Akash Bhairab, the Hindu sky god, following technical problems with one of its Boeing 757 aircraft. Amazingly the aircraft flew it’s journey soon after and no one was killed except the sacrificial goats.

What do I know… Maybe the prayer for a seat will work and if it doesn’t you could sacrifice some goats. I am sure you will have a whole carriage to yourself then.

Council spend £80k teaching children to play

A COUNCIL which
closed four playgrounds is to spend £80,000 on teaching youngsters how to PLAY.

A part-time “play ranger” will teach games to kids and give workshops for parents.

They will give a list of “quality play opportunities” to schools.

The three-year post at Lib Dem-run Eastbourne Borough Council in East Sussex is to be funded by a £205,000 Big Lottery Fund grant.

Lib Dem Councillor Margaret Bannister said: “Children don’t always know how to play. It is money well spent.”

It follows a decision to close four playgrounds after complaints about anti-social behaviour.

Instead of closing the parks why didn’t they just focus catching the yobs that were destroying the fun for the other children? These councillors are totally out of touch with the real world. Children will always know how to play but if you destroy places where they can play they won’t be able to.

Instead of closing down parks more should be opened and more should be done to catch the yobs who destroy the parks. It’s common sense but then again you can never accuse a liberal of having any common sense.

Beware of the Muslims

A hardline Islamic movement, whose leading
UK imam preaches anti-Semitism and calls on Muslims to "shed blood for Allah", is controlling almost half of Britain's mosques, a police report has found.

The influence of the ultra-conservative Deobandi sect, which is characterised by its total rejection of western values, has grown to such an extent that police now believe it runs more than 600 of Britain's 1,350 mosques.

The revelations will put further scrutiny on plans for a "mega mosque" in east London by a group called Tablighi Jamaat, who are closely linked to the Deobandi movement.

The £100 million plan to build the "Islamic village" next to the Olympic site is already mired in controversy after intelligence services said the group was a recruiting ground for al Qaeda.

The Deobandi- controlled mosques are predominantly found in the Midlands and the North - such as the Tablighi Jamaat mosque which 7/7 bombers Mohammad Sidique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer were known to attend.

But about 170 London mosques are classified as Deobandi-run compared with less than 100 run by the moderate Sufi-based Barelwi movement.

Seventeen of Britain's 26 Islamic seminaries are also run by Deobandis, producing 80 per cent of clerics trained here.

The most vocal preacher in Britain, Sheikh Riyadh ul Haq, supports armed jihad and is openly contemptuous of Christians, Jews and Hindus.

A Department for Communities spokesman said: "We have a strategy to ensure imams represent mainstream moderate opinion and promote values like tolerance and respect of the law. We never said the challenge from extremism is restricted to those coming from overseas".

If the Dept of Communities has a strategy to ensure imams represent mainstream moderate opinion then it isn’t working or maybe it is actually working? If this hardline Islamic movement represents half of the mosques then surely they are the ones that are the mainstream Muslim opinion?

The BNP have been saying that Muslims are a threat to this country for years and no one has listened to them. Do the streets have to run red with blood before we are told that we are right?

Does she look like a yob?

In her pink cardigan and standing a mere 3ft6in, four year old Karen Lewis hardly looks a menace to society.

But that didn't stop staff at a seaside amusement arcade reducing the little girl to tears by warning her she was flouting company rules on hooded tops.

A worker explained to Karen's mother, Cheryl, that it was company policy to insist customers pulled down their hoods, in case yobs used them to conceal their identity while causing trouble.

Do those workers really think that 4 year old girl is a yob? It’s probably just one of those things where they approached her because she was an easy target. These types of people are always doing that and wouldn’t complain about people actually looking like yobs and why would they? Who wants to get a load of lip from snot nosed teenagers who then go on a vandalism spree?

Strike to support Paul Yarwoood

Remember Paul Yarwood, the rail guard who stood up to a drunken yob who was threatening passengers and lost his job and was arrested for his troubles?

His union is finally standing up for him like a union should and is threatening to go on strike if he doesn’t get his job back. I hope the strike is successful and he gets his job back and those cowardly bosses give him compensation for what they have put him through.

Tessa Jowell ‘knew Olympic bill would soar’. Why were we lied to?

No smoking signs for under cover police

You might think that the smoking ban is barmy and if you do it’s about to go into a whole new level of barmyness. Police will now have to put up no smoking signs in their vehicles. The rule also includes police cars with undercover police inside.

This will of course compromise undercover police work Labour isn’t going to let a little thing like crime fighting get in the way of the nanny state. They would rather let thousands of criminals escape than allow the police to light up a cigarette.

I wonder if organisations like MI5 have to do the same thing. Wouldn’t it be strange if they had to do it while following Islamic fundos that wanted to blow up a few things?

Vote Labour or they will take your money

Suburbs have been drained of taxpayers' cash in favour of inner cities in Labour heartlands, it has been claimed.

The outer town areas have become maligned and unfashionable while money is pumped into urban schools, hospitals and transport, according to a report.

Political leaders of suburban boroughs said they had been stripped of £1billion a year which has been redirected to poorer and less productive areas.

Why does Labour punish those that don’t vote for them? Labour has to learn that we live in a democracy and they should not be allowed to go around punishing those that don’t vote for them.

This isn’t the first time I have blogged about this. Labour have been caught giving better healthcare to Labour areas by giving 80% of spending on new hospitals to Labour areas while they close lots of hospitals, 70% of which are in Labour areas which means that if you don’t vote Labour they would rather you die.

When it comes to environmental and educational funding they are doing the same. They are also closing down police stations in areas that don’t vote Labour so that communities can suffer at the hands of teenage gangs and yobs.

Labour are an evil party, intent on destroying any opposition. Anyone who loves freedom and doesn’t want to see communities punished for not voting a certain way should never vote Labour. They are totally against any type of freedom.

Citizens' juries will be useless

Prime Minister Gordon Brown today said that the Government would engage more directly with the public in future before deciding on new policy.

Speaking during the first citizens' jury event, he said the "old days" of policy being drawn up by someone in an office in Whitehall were over.

They old days certainly will be over because the EU will be the main decision maker, not our parliament or the British people. Citizens’ juries are nothing but a PR gimmick which will achieve nothing. The government already have a way of finding out British opinion and that is the e petitions website which has been totally ignored. Nothing has been done about many of the popular petitions including a petition for a referendum on the EU treaty which has received more than 18,000 signatures. Surely the opinions of 18,000 are better than the opinions of 50?

Gordon Brown should come clean and tell us that this is just a PR gimmick which won’t achieve anything. Allowing citizens initiatives is a much better way of encouraging democracy and finding out what people want.

School made to apologise after disciplining boy

A school has been forced to write a letter of apology to an 11-year-old boy who was punished for being disruptive.

The boy was dropped from the football team, banned from going to a Royal Albert Hall concert and lost his lunchtime breaks.

His family complained that he was suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and teachers should have taken that into account.

If the parents are so concerned why didn’t they take him to a special school so they could deal with pupils with ADHD? If there isn’t a special school to deal with those pupils one should be made because I don’t see why the education of other students should suffer just because the teachers are spending all their time dealing with this particular child.

Critics at Labour Conference face ‘gag’. Gordon Brown hates opposition.

SNP to discriminate against English students

Alex Salmond is showing that he is an anti English racist. He is going to stop tuition fees for Scottish students in Scottish universities. While the English won’t be getting anything, asylum seekers and immigrants from other EU countries will. The SNP also expect the Lib Dems to support this racist piece of legislation and they probably will.

If Salmond thinks that English students should be discriminated against while the rest of the world can just show up and be educated then I think it’s time for us to get our money back and tell the SNP that they can fund their education without English money.

Police caught lying in FoI request

Your Right To Know is a website that campaigns for stronger freedom of information laws and has just discovered that the police lied to them when they made a request. You can read what happened here.

Basically Heather (owner of the site) asked about the pilotless drones that were used to record what happened at the V Festival. The police said that the Surveillance Commissioner was spoken to so that they could see if it was legal however Heather used freedom of information to ask the commissioner what happened and his office said he was never contacted. The police were then told that their lie had been found out and then the next day (it was about 2 hours in office hours) they came clean and called it a misunderstanding. You can read the rest here.

What the hell is wrong with this country? A war veteran who served in the Second World War may never be able to walk again thanks to feral youths who pushed the 83 year old man into a river while he was fishing with his nephew.

Why on Earth do idiots like this do it? It can’t be because of boredom because boredom wouldn’t make them do it. These people are ideal candidates to be placed in the stocks at the weekend while they spend the rest of their time in prison.

Govt to spend our money on foreign health

Gordon Brown is to spearhead his first major international development initiative since becoming Prime Minister, with the launch of a global health campaign.

He will announce seven "first wave" countries in Africa and Asia that have signed up to a new International Health Partnership (IHP).

It will help build national health systems in some of the world's poorest countries and aims to save millions of lives by fostering "smarter" working between global aid donors.

The seven countries are Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Zambia, Cambodia and Nepal.

Why can’t we have decent healthcare in our own country before we go and spend money on other countries health systems? It’s not like we have world class healthcare here is it?

We should be getting our own country in order especially now that we have slipped to 17th place in the world for quality of life. We are supposed to be a world class country yet we have inferior healthcare and quality of life than many other countries.

Junior doctors’ pay ‘short by £500 a month’. Is it any wonder our own doctors go abroad when they are treated so poorly?

Police committing crime

You know crime is out of control when even police are encouraged to get in on the action. In Worcester, if you don’t lock up your bike up the police have been told that they can take it without telling you. This is effectively stealing and who are you going to phone if someone has stolen your bike? If the police can break the law why can’t we?

It’s also legal for the police to hit you with their car and then fine you for denting the police car. How nice of them. Maybe it’s now ok for you to punch them in the face and get them arrested for assault when your knuckles come back slightly bruised.

I don’t know how the police have the cheek to do this sort of thing to law abiding people but things need to change and the police have got to stop thinking they are our superiors.

Poles just aren't cheap enough anymore

Yesterday I blogged that the EU was planning to open borders for everyone in the world and not just people from EU countries. Well it seems our government was planning to do that anyway by letting an unlimited amount of cheap labour from India because it would seem that Eastern Europeans just aren’t cheap enough anymore.

Aren’t you glad that your own government is trying to stop you from getting a job because you are unwilling to be slaves? I think most people are because they keep voting for this rotten lot of crooks and liars.

30% of failed asylum seekers bribed to leave

ONE in three failed asylum seekers kicked out by Labour has to be bribed to leave, costing the taxpayer millions of pounds a year.

More than 5,300 refused applicants who left the UK last year did so after being handed up to £3,000 each in cash and support in kind.

The bribes have continued at a similar rate this year as ministers try to clear the backlog of hundreds of failed asylum

seekers who are still here.

Figures show more failed applicants stayed here last year than were removed. The number of removals is at its lowest level for five years.

This has been going on for years. Infact as I blogged in July many come back after being bribed to leave and that is perfectly legal.

We shouldn’t be paying these people to leave. If they have failed to get asylum they should have no other choice but to leave. If they don’t like it then it is tough for them.

EU: Everyone is welcome

We are already getting more and more overpopulated because of immigration from EU countries and now the EU wants to open the door for immigrants from non EU countries. We already have far too many here as it is and Europe represent less than 10% of the world population. Just think what it will be like when many more come here. What will happen to our education and health systems? What about our housing crisis? This cannot go on.

They say it is to stop illegal migration. All they will be doing is turning the illegal immigrants into legal immigrants – it’s just another amnesty which (by the example of Spain) does not work. Is it any wonder that so many people in how much power the EU should have?

Immigrants could swamp NHS

The Health Service could be "overwhelmed" by cancer sufferers from
Eastern Europe, a leading doctor has warned.

There are almost twice as many smokers in Poland and neighbouring countries than the UK, which means they have far higher rates of lung and other cancers.

It comes as a new documents showed the bill for treating health 'tourists' amounts to at least £62 million a year.

This is totally unfair. When Brits are taken ill in Poland they are deported because the Polish government refuses to take care of them.

While we are spending millions of pounds on making their citizens better they are only willing to pay for a one way ticket to this country. We are getting a bad deal being in the EU.

Prison officers strike, paedos get money

What the hell is going on in our prisons? We all know about the strike of the prison officers. While the government didn’t have enough money to give the prison officers their pay rise they decided to give £2 to every paedophile and rapist for their good behaviour during the prison strike. I don’t want any of these perverts getting any money. I don’t care if it is only £2. They shouldn’t get anything.

Is it any wonder that the prison officers go on strike when they are attacked in prisons by terrorists and then those terrorists aren’t even held to account for their actions by being imprisoned longer because it isn’t in the public interest? Since when is it not in the public interest to jail terrorists for longer?

Our prison system has become a joke. No wonder the prison officers want to go on strike. They deserve more money for putting up with all the crap from the government.

Minimum wage to be regionalised

Workers in
London should be paid a minimum wage £1 an hour higher than their peers across the rest of the country, according to a think-tank with close links to the Government.

The highly influential Institute for Public Policy Research is calling for the minimum wage to be raised to £6.50 an hour in the capital - compared with the national hourly rate of £5.35.

Advisers close to Gordon Brown last night confirmed that the plan was now under serious consideration by the Government.

I have said before that each area should have its own minimum wage and I even stated the minimum wage formula which can be seen here. The formula could be increased for big businesses so that the small businesses could compete.

Iraq to free 6000 insurgents

The job of our military in Afghanistan is about to get harder. While our troops were taking part in anti-insurgent activities they were arresting many suspected insurgents, 6000 of who will now be released from prison and will probably start fighting our troops again.

I bet our troops are glad that they are over there especially when the people they have already arrested for fighting them will probably start fighting them again.

A bit of justice goes a long way

Remember Colin Read, the wife beater who was on £90,000 a year who was spared prison and only fined £2000? Well justice has been served. He has been fired from his job which means he isn’t earning that money anymore. Good enough for him. I would rather he was sent to prison for a few months but this will do.

3,000 crimes committed by children

Under Labour crime is not just for adults anymore. It is for children too young to be punished. 3,000 crimes are committed by those under the age of criminal responsibility and the police can’t do anything about it.

According to statistics released by 32 of the 43 police forces in England and Wales, children aged under 10 were thought to be responsible for 66 sexual offences, including indecent assaults on other children aged under 13.

In total, the forces recorded 2,840 crimes where the suspect was under 10. Nearly half, around 1,300, were incidents of criminal damage and arson.

Children were also suspected of harassment, wounding and burglary.

If I had my way at the very least those children would be spanked and their parents fined for being crap parents. It’s not all bad though. If the police catch them in the act they can use tasers on them so there is a silver lining.

Failing pupils to spend extra year at school

Children who fail maths and reading tests will be forced to spend an extra year at primary school under new Tory plans to be unveiled this week.

The reforms are designed to make sure no pupil starts secondary school without a basic grasp of the "Three Rs".

The Conservatives hope the move will improve school discipline by targeting children who cause the most classroom disruption.

I agree with this and I wouldn’t just include Maths and English. I would also include other subjects like Science. The government should set out minimum standards for children. If they fail to achieve these standards then they should be kept back a year. I would include teenagers with this too. If they fail to achieve minimum standards in their GCSEs they should be kept back for another year.

Support Mark Walker

"Outrage" - that is the only word to describe the feelings of
Civil Liberty supporters and members of the independent Trade Union Solidarity to the persecution of Mark Walker, the suspended County Durham BNP teacher. We carried calls on this site for lovers of freedom to write to the Headteacher and join the protest picket called by Civil Liberty this Monday, the 3rd of September. We have been flooded with emails on the subject. Not only are groups and individuals up and down the country letting their feelings be known to the head but they are sending messages of support and encouragement to Mark care of the school. One supporter wrote:-

"I think it's time to draw a line in the sand. This kind of political persecution is unacceptable in a modern democracy. It's like the Head at Sunnydale thinks she is living in Soviet Russia. I sent my message of support to Mark Walker on a postcard because I wanted everyone there to know my feelings. What's happening there is a disgrace. Don't let them grind you down Mark!"

The General Secretary of Solidarity, Pat Harrington, commented:-

"The employer in this case has acted in an arrogant, confrontational manner. Our Brotherhood is angry at the persecution on political grounds of a Union official. It is just plain wrong that because someone is a member of the BNP they should receive less favourable treatment than other staff. That's discrimination plain and simple. I am very concerned at the toll this has taken on Mark and his young family We welcome the involvement of Civil Liberty in championing Mark and will work with them to uphold his rights".

Migrant rapist allowed to stay

A few hours ago I blogged about a Pakistani rapist who was basically slapped on the wrist for sexually assaulting two women and a teenager and now I read that there is another immigrant who won’t be deported.

Michal Kwidzinski raped a barmaid only a week after he entered the UK. He was jailed for nine years but it’s pointless deporting him because we are in the EU which will mean there is nothing to stop him coming back here to rape even more women.

This is one of the reasons we should be out of the EU. Atleast then we could deport scum like this. Being in the EU will just allow him to come back here and do whatever he wants.

When is a doctor's surgery a mosque?

People don’t want mosques in their backyard which is why Muslims are using ever more devious means to get their way while the councils just look on hoping to get their vote at the next election.

In Croydon a planning application was put forward for a doctor’s surgery. The residents didn’t complain. The thing is the building was never going to be used as a doctor’s surgery. It is now a mosque where hundreds of Muslims go to pray everyday.

The residents have been left angry and baffled at the decision even though the building was never given planning permission to be a mosque. The residents are now finding it difficult to find parking space in their own street.

Immigrant escapes jail and deportation after sexual assaults

A Pakistani businessman yesterday escaped prison and deportation after being found guilty of a string of sex offences.

Naeem Waqas Rehmat was sentenced to three years' probation after being found guilty of sexually assaulting two women and a 14-year-old girl.

If you read the rest it goes on to say that the court has no wish to break up families. This sounds like he would have had a case under the Human Rights Act when it comes to a right to a family life. I could be wrong though.

Either way this piece of scum should been sent to prison for what he did. That should be the minimum of what we expect from the criminal justice system. He should have also been deported seeing as how the government said that they were going to deport foreign criminals.

1000th blog entry! party!

I have been blogging just over 2 years and this is my 1000th blog entry. WOOHOO!

There is no global warming consensus

In 2004, history professor Naomi Oreskes performed a survey of research papers on climate change. Examining peer-reviewed papers published on the ISI Web of Science database from 1993 to 2003, she found a majority supported the "consensus view," defined as humans were having at least some effect on global climate change. Oreskes' work has been repeatedly cited, but as some of its data is now nearly 15 years old, its conclusions are becoming somewhat dated.

Medical researcher Dr. Klaus-Martin Schulte recently updated this research. Using the same database and search terms as Oreskes, he examined all papers published from 2004 to February 2007. The results have been submitted to the journal
Energy and Environment, of which DailyTech has obtained a pre-publication copy. The figures are surprising.

Of 528 total papers on climate change, only 38 (7%) gave an explicit endorsement of the consensus. If one considers "implicit" endorsement (accepting the consensus without explicit statement), the figure rises to 45%. However, while only 32 papers (6%) reject the consensus outright, the largest category (48%) are
neutral papers, refusing to either accept or reject the hypothesis. This is no "consensus."

The figures are even more shocking when one remembers the watered-down definition of consensus here. Not only does it not require supporting that man is the "primary" cause of warming, but it doesn't require any belief or support for "catastrophic" global warming. In fact of all papers published in this period (2004 to February 2007), only a single one makes any reference to climate change leading to catastrophic results.

More here.

It looks like the global warming gas bags are increasing being shown for the fools they are. There is no longer a consensus on climate change because humans have no effect on the climate and real scientists are beginning to realise this.

August 2007 monthly roundup

Crime is out of control and the government has no idea how to solve it. The only thing they are doing is releasing criminals early or tagging criminals even though 50% of criminals re-offend.

The government seems to be inconsistent when it comes to their drugs policy. Last month he was considering whether to reclassify cannabis then he slashed the drugs rehab budget and then the government decided that they should stop daily prison checks.

In today’s crime ridden country it’s never a good idea to stick up for yourself or stick up for those weaker than yourself. This has been shown on many occasions. On one occasion a man confronted a burglar who entered his home. The burglar fell to his death and the man was arrested. If the man killed him then he did a public service especially considering that the burglar was on bail for committing a similar crime.

A warden was arrested after he confiscated a bicycle from teenage yobs. Police also arrested a rail guard for confronting a drunken hooligan who was threatening passengers. He was then sacked by his company and he now can’t pay the mortgage. He is now awaiting trial. You would think that he would be praised considering the scale of the attacks on rail guards. They seem to be arresting the wrong people and when they arrest the right people they don’t seem to punish them. Sometimes it’s best not to get involved or you could find yourself seriously injured or dead.

Crime is so bad in this country that it has spread to the schools. Knife attacks on pupils are so common now that parents are buying stab proof uniforms. This is happening a lot in London where there are 170 different gangs for you to watch your back for with many having guns especially those that haven’t reached adulthood. It’s what gun control does to a society.

Instead of trying to arrest the teenage yobs that make peoples lives hell one police force decided that they were going to give their police lessons in skateboarding while another hired teenagers to be PCSOs. Even if teenage yobs are arrested they normally get let off with an ASBO but if they flout an ASBO they won’t be sent to prison so it’s a waste of time. You won’t even be sent to prison for benefit fraud or smoking cannabis in front of your children.

With all the uncontrollable crime going on is it any wonder that nearly half are too afraid to leave their home at night? We might start feeling safe when criminals are actually punished and humiliated like the drug dealer in Ulster who was tarred and feathered by locals. We also think that crime shouldn’t pay.

Eastern Europeans were shown to be dangerous drivers after we found that they were the cause of 15% of fatal road accidents. They were also plundering our fish stocks and poaching swans. Immigrants are even creating entirely new crimes.

There is lots of crime being committed in London and 20% of that crime is committed by foreigners. If we stopped immigration we would see a substantial reduction in crime. Sometimes the police are silly though. If you are willing to travel thousands of miles you aren’t going to go home even if a policeman gives you a map and tells you where the nearest detention centre is.

You would think it would take a long time for immigrants or asylum seekers to commit their first crime in this country but you would be wrong because a group of them weren’t even here for a full day before they started their gang warfare. I think the Swiss nationalists have it right when they say foreign criminals should be deported.

We all know that the government is criminally stupid and before the Eastern Europeans began to pour into this country the government decided that they would estimate the number that would come. They came to the conclusion that only 48,000 would come after they interviewed 169 immigrants. Quite how they came to that conclusion from interviewing that many is unclear. Infact there are so many Poles here that Poland have their own labour shortage. There must be parts of Eastern Europe that are completely empty as there are so many here that the government is refusing to publish the real numbers but there must be a lot considering 25% of births involve a foreign parent.

There are hundreds of thousands of failed asylum seekers in this country. Rather than find them and deport them the government wants to let them stay by giving them an amnesty. Some asylum seekers have already been allowed here and are being given luxury flats by the council.

The number of failed asylum seekers being deported fell this year with the government saying it was because they were going after foreign criminals but a few months ago they said the foreign criminals were no longer a priority.

The government seems to enjoy discriminating against white people. They have done a lot this year but sadly we are only looking at this month because this month they decided that they don’t want white English people applying for certain jobs especially those in the environment agency. When it comes to MI5 they are in a tizzy because there aren’t enough women even though they get better benefits than the men. I think something should be done about that.

The government seem to think that whites are second class citizens and have decided that black teenagers need better role models while white teenagers can get stuffed. If you are a white young adult the government like you even less which is why 20% of them are not in work or education .

There is a reason why 40% of children can’t even do the basics. It’s because of bad education resulting from the fact that some teachers barely passed their own degrees. When it comes to exams, many examiners are concerned because teenagers are writing violent essays.

Dumbing down seems to be happening a lot in education and they are set to dumb it down a bit more by making Shakespeare comic strips which don’t contain the old word styles.

The islamification of this country continues. This time it’s the education system that they are targeting. One primary school decided that it would be a good idea to get their pupils to copy lines of the Muslim prayer for handwriting practice while the government were thinking of making it compulsory for all university students to learn about Islam.

The TV channels started to help the islamication of this country. First the BBC cancelled a casualty episode because it could offend Muslims then ITV decided that they were going to show a documentary about what Muslims think about Jesus.

The Muslims are whining yet again. This time they are whining over Muhammed cartoons published in a Swedish newspaper.

I bet our troops are sure glad they joined the military as they could be holidaying in sunny Afghanistan for another 38 years. Being there so long you might want to pass the time by blogging about how the government treats you like shit. Unfortunately soldiers are banned from blogging so you can’t.

The war on terror isn’t going too well either. As well as a number of setbacks they have also lost 20% of their experienced intelligence officers. Our troops also have substandard military equipment and the Taliban seem to be phoning their wives and training child soldiers.

At first the government wasn’t going to give recognition to our troops serving in Afghanistan but decided it was a good idea to conduct a review into the subject. Perhaps our troops would rather have a pool than a medal? They won’t be given one unlike our foreign office bureaucrats in Afghanistan… but hey, atleast they will get free post.

The Gurkhas are also being treated like shit. After 18 years of service one Gurkha injured himself so badly that he couldn’t be in the army anymore. Instead of being grateful we gave him £100 and basically told him to piss off.

The smoking ban was again in the news with people doing their best to show that they don’t like it. One businessman is openly flouting the law and is probably going to win.

In Lancashire a café has banned non smokers from sitting outside in revenge at the smoking ban. Another lady from Lancashire decided to join the protest and banned the Prime Minister from entering her pub.

While some people were flouting the ban the government decided that they needed someone to punish so the first smoking martyr was to be prosecuted.

Smoking in public places has been banned for a lot longer in Scotland is has caused some unexpected side effects with more people arguing.

There was more than usual health and safety idiocy from around the country. The Health and Safety Executive decided to spend £12,000 of our money on finding out if towels are ok for slipper floors. The tests were inconclusive so they want another £12,000.

The Health and Safety Executive decided to go on a trip to an amusement park to find out how dangerous it is there. They came up with some crap conclusions and spent £110,000 on the project.

You may think that you don’t need any training to climb a ladder but health and safety bureaucrats think otherwise. The police handed control of speed signs to the local council only they didn’t have any trained ladder climbers and the police never had any trained ladder climbing instructors so the speed signs will have to wait.

In real life these health and safety people probably wouldn’t be able to get jobs. Where else would you find an industry where you can get a job looking at gravestones safety or deciding what kind of shorts are appropriate to wear in a pool?

The trainee doctors won’t be having a fun time. Atleast 10,000 It’s weird that the NHS has a £1 billion surplus. The question is if they have the money they should pay for more nurses and cleaners so war heroes won’t die when they contract a superbug. They could also pay for more ambulances so they don’t have to pay bus companies to transport organs for operations.

In an effort to make us recycle more the government is thinking of giving us smaller bins. It’s probably because they want to increase the number of fines they can take from you. The government likes taking money from you which is why they introduced HIPs which could be used to raise your council tax. Sooner or later we might have to build more houses in the countryside seeing as how the countryside has a housing shortage too.

If you are environmentally friendly in Croydon it’s probably best not to be environmentally friendly to save the environment

The government is hoping to close 2,500 post offices and they don’t like opposition to their plans which is why they are bribing and blackmailing post office employees to stay silent. The government like silencing any opposition which is why they are going to abduct a baby when it is born and ban anyone from talking about it. Gordon Brown is also stopping junior doctors from getting better paid jobs and he is trying to silence his own political party.

Our MPs think that they are above us. They think that they have an automatic right to our money. The speaker of the house earns £130,000 per year but that didn’t stop him from spending £3,000 of taxpayers’ money on legal advice. Our government will always want to tax us more so they are sending tax inspectors to foreign countries at our expense to find out ways of taxing us more. One way of taxing us more is using green taxes which people don’t want but the Conservatives don’t know that people don’t want this.

There was lots of wailing and crying over slavery by politicians especially Red Ken who was probably doing it to attract the black vote. He is sucking up to the Poles to get their vote too. John Prescott even called for a slavery Memorial Day while a museum decided to praise black people for ending slavery.

The EU was once again in the news. This time our minister to the UN decided that we should give our UNSC seat to the EU. The EU seems to like having a say in everything. They decided that Poland couldn’t build a road and they stopped Italy selling their gold reserves to pay off a debt. They even tried to get Texas to stop with the death penalty.

If we don’t want to be part of the EU we have no choice. Gordon Brown won’t give us one even though MPs and the unions are pressuring him. The MPs aren’t pressuring him that much though. Some are too cowardly to say anything because it could damage their careers but then again they might like wasting our money on politically correct projects. Why do we have to pay so much money especially when they make up stupid restaurant laws?

The disparities between the English and Scots have become apparent again. The Scots seem to be getting better healthcare than the English while the English pay for it.

The SNP want to give Scotland a referendum on independence while the other parties are totally against the people having a say.
