Give Scotland a referendum

Scotland's opposition leaders have joined forces against the government's proposals for a ballot on independence .

Labour, the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats said they would block the plans, to be set out in a white paper due to be published on Tuesday.

They claimed that the Nationalists were pursuing a failed agenda that would damage Scotland.

I rather the union remain intact but I see nothing wrong with a referendum. If the Scottish people want independence why not give them it? They have a right to self determination. If the Scottish people don’t want independence then there is nothing wrong with a referendum. Either way the trio of evil seem to be arguing against democracy, like the government are doing with regards to the EU constitution.

Give the Scottish people the right to choose their own way.
