A pity he could not have had the kind of medical treatment he received in WW2.
I think that a standard of care demonstrated by WW2 MOs and QA Nursing Sisters would have pulled him through OK.
You are probably right. It's just a pity that our hospital cleanliness is worse than it was in world war 2
