2000 Gurkhas could be allowed to stay
A Gurkha, who is prepared to fight and die for
David Enright, representing 44 former Gurkhas, said visa officials should take into account war wounds, medals and their allegiance to the Crown.
This test case could help decide whether 2,000 Gurkhas in the British army can stay in the country.
It’s about time too. As far as I am concerned the only foreigners that are deserving enough to be allowed to live in

For as long as they are stationed here.
They should then return to Nepal, where clearly they would be an asset to their own nation.
I do think, however, that Nepal could qualify for overseas assistance, once our own deserving recipients, e.g. flood victims, are catered for.
This is instead of bestowing billions of £s on Marxist regimes in Africa.

And those from other regiments, of course, who also fought for Britain.
